The Portsmouth Orthopaedic Surgery Alumni Foundation supports the development of world-class Orthopaedic Surgeons within a state-of-the-art, military-focused medical center—the only Level II trauma center in Navy Medicine.

Our mission is twofold: to maximize readiness and operational capability by forging surgeons who are skilled, adaptable, and expeditionary, and to preserve and advance our proud legacy through alumni mentorship, collaboration, and support.

With fellowship-trained faculty across multiple subspecialties—including Total Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Spine, Foot & Ankle, Hand & Microsurgery, Sports, Shoulder & Elbow, Oncology, and Pediatrics—the program delivers rigorous academic and surgical training.
